Southern Illinois Rugby Football Club Alumni Inc. is committed to enhancing the experience of both rugby alumni and student players. Through alumni events, we aim to directly support the aspirations of student-athlete rugby players while maintaining an inclusive, philanthropic, and educational support system for the Rugby Football Clubs at our Alma Mater.

 

Specifically, we focus on:

• Encouraging Collegiate Participation: Promoting participation, competition, and sportsmanship in rugby for the Women's and Men's Rugby Football Clubs at Southern Illinois University (SIU).

• Providing Educational Support: Offering coaching, practice, and match materials and guidance to both clubs at SIU, ensuring a stable infrastructure for long-term success.

• Supporting High School Students: Creating opportunities for deserving high school students to attend SIU and play rugby.

• Promoting Rugby Positively: Demonstrating positive actions and guidance on and off the field through alumni events that benefit student-athletes and the sport of rugby.

• Advancing Rugby Locally: Leveraging our alumni influence to improve and advance the sport of rugby in our local communities.
